Why so serious?

When the Z3 Coupe arrived in the late 90s, nobody quite knew what to make of it. A long bonnet, a stubby tail and a roofline that looked borrowed from another car entirely. The nickname wrote itself: the Clown Shoe.

Today the joke is on everyone else. Rare, straight-six powered and impossible to mistake for anything else, the Clown Shoe has become a cult modern classic.

For Halloween, we gave it the villain treatment it always deserved: purple bodywork, green paint splashes and a question on the back for anyone still laughing.

Now on a black hoodie, for the colder months and the late nights in the garage.
